NCPA was established in 1897 and is the national trade association for the U.S. cottonseed processing industry. Our members include cottonseed crushers, dealers, brokers, refiners, commercial laboratories and many other firms deriving their livelihood from the cottonseed industry.
NCPA is responsible for the administration of cottonseed trading rules, standards and arbitration. In addition, the association’s leadership works to promote and protect the interests of the cottonseed industry through their involvement in other trade associations and coalitions. Our annual convention provides members with an opportunity to learn more about issues that affect our industry and develop close working relationships with our peers.
Membership in the Association is by application and requires the recommendation by two Regular Members (a Regular Member being a current Oil Mill, Refiner, and/or Dealer Member). Dues are billed on a 12-month basis and are $500 USD per year.
All membership applications must be reviewed and approved before a member is asked to pay dues. NCPA will contact you by email after your application has been reviewed.
Questions concerning the Association’s membership polices and status of pending applications should be directed to support@cottonseed.com.
I/we understand that contributions and/or charitable gifts to the Association are not deductible as charitable contributions for Federal income tax purposes. It is the Association’s opinion that payments of membership dues are deductible for members of a trade association as an ordinary and necessary business expense.
